Galaxy Watch8, Watch8 Classic, and Watch9 all use the same interchangable band. These models are not compatible with standard 20mm/22mm quick-release bands. Please order band specifically made for Galaxy8, 8 Classic, or 9 (we have plenty in our collection).

I thought it was metal, it's plastic and doesn't have a back cover which is ok. Does change the look of the watch as mine is black and i'm not fond of black gadgets. So this worked.
