How to choose an Inspire 3 band
The Inspire 3 uses its own connector, so bands are matched to the tracker rather than to a millimetre width.
Do Inspire 2 bands fit the Inspire 3?
No. Fitbit changed the band attachment between the two generations, and Fitbit's own Inspire 3 documentation confirms that Inspire 2 bands are not compatible. The Inspire 1, Inspire 2 and Inspire HR share a fitting with each other; the Inspire 3 does not join them. Which material suits a small tracker?
The Inspire 3 is narrow, so slim bands flatter it and wide ones overwhelm it. Silicone is the everyday default for sweat, showers and sleep tracking. Woven nylon is lighter and more breathable. Stainless steel mesh in gold or rose gold is the biggest visual change, and beaded elastic bands suit the Inspire particularly well because the tracker disappears into the design.
Inspire 3 band questions
How do I change an Inspire 3 band?
Turn the tracker over and press the small flat button where the band meets the case, then slide the band away from the body. It should release without force. Fit the new band by lining the connector up and pressing until it clicks, then tug each half gently to confirm.
Are these bands sweat and water resistant?
Our silicone and nylon Inspire 3 bands handle sweat, showers and swimming. Rinse them with fresh water after pool or ocean use. Leather bands should be kept out of water.
