How to choose a Sense band
The Sense shares its fitting with the Versa 3 and Versa 4, which widens your options considerably.
Which models share bands with the Sense?
Sense and Sense 2 use the same connector as the Versa 3 and Versa 4, so bands are interchangeable across all four. That means a band listed for a Versa 4 will fit a Sense perfectly well. Older Versa generations use a different fitting and do not cross over.
Band choice and sensor accuracy
The Sense carries more sensors than the Versa, including stress and skin temperature, and several of them need consistent skin contact. A band that lets the watch slide produces noisier data rather than just a worse heart-rate reading. For those features specifically, a snug silicone or nylon band beats a metal one.
Sense band questions
How do I change a Sense band?
Turn the watch over and find the spring-loaded lever on the underside of the band. Slide it toward the centre and lift that end away. Fit the new band by seating one side first, then sliding the lever into place, and tug each half to confirm.
Are these bands sweat and water resistant?
Our silicone and nylon Sense bands handle sweat, showers and swimming. Rinse them with fresh water after pool or ocean use. Leather bands should be kept out of water.
