A little care with every slice
Mandoline blades are sharp. Use the holder or pusher supplied with your model, keep fingers clear of the cutting area and follow its instructions.
Which style suits my prep?
Choose the handling first: chute and pusher, sliding holder, standing deck or handheld board. Compare rear insert storage, a separate caddy or a catch container. For press-dicing, choose the slicer-dicer set with separate grid blades. Then check Cut control and the included pieces.
Do all models adjust slice thickness?
No. Some models use a dial, thickness positions or a screw-adjusted deck. The orange V set, handled V set with caddy, folding five-insert set, sliding-holder five-blade set and container slicer-dicer change cutting profiles by swapping inserts. Variable straight-slice thickness is not specified for these sets.
How do I use the holder or pusher?
Set the mandoline on a stable surface. Secure food in the holder, or feed it through the chute with the supplied pusher, as your model directs. Keep fingers away from the blade and stop when food can no longer be held securely.
How do I clean and store it?
Follow the care directions supplied with your model. When washing by hand, handle the blade carefully and keep fingers away from its cutting edges. Dry after cleaning and store out of children’s reach. Check the product instructions before using a dishwasher.
