How to choose a Moto Watch band

Motorola's Moto Watch line uses standard quick-release spring bars, so replacing a band comes down to the lug width.

20mm or 22mm?

Slimmer Moto Watch models generally take 20mm and larger ones 22mm. Measure the gap between the lugs rather than the band itself, since bands are usually cut slightly narrower than the space they occupy.

Silicone, nylon, leather or metal

Silicone handles sweat, showers and swimming and cleans in seconds. Nylon is lighter and more breathable for long wear. The round Moto models have traditional proportions and carry leather well, though it should be kept dry. Milanese mesh gives the most formal finish with the most forgiving fit.

Moto Watch band questions

Why are there so few Moto Watch bands?

There are not, once you stop searching by brand. Because the Moto Watch uses standard spring bars, any 20mm or 22mm quick-release band fits, including ones made for Samsung, Garmin, Amazfit and traditional watches. Shopping by width opens up the entire market.

How do I change a Moto Watch band?

Turn the watch over, slide the lever on the spring bar toward the centre of the band, and lift that end away. Seat the new band one side first, then let the pin drop into the opposite lug hole. Tug each half gently to confirm.

Are these bands sweat and water resistant?

Our silicone and nylon Moto Watch bands handle sweat, rain and swimming. Rinse them with fresh water after pool or ocean use. Leather bands should be kept out of water.
