How to choose a COROS watch band
COROS watches use standard quick-release spring bars, so the only thing to get right is the lug width. Any band of the correct width will fit, whatever the model name.
Finding your COROS lug width
COROS bands are sold by width rather than by watch. The PACE range, including the PACE 4, PACE Pro and earlier PACE models, generally takes 20mm. The APEX range takes 20mm or 22mm depending on case size, and the largest VERTIX models take 26mm. Measure the gap between the lugs where your current band sits if you are unsure, or check the fit list on the product page.
Silicone or nylon for training
Silicone is the practical choice for running, triathlon and swimming because it rinses clean and does not hold sweat. Nylon and alpine loop bands are lighter and more breathable on long days, and dry faster than leather. Leather and metal suit everyday wear rather than hard training.
COROS band questions
How do I change a COROS band?
Turn the watch over and slide the small lever on the spring bar toward the centre of the band. Lift that end away from the watch, then fit the new band by seating one side first and letting the pin spring into the opposite lug hole. No tool is needed.
Will a generic quick-release band fit my COROS?
Yes, as long as the width matches. Because COROS uses standard spring bars rather than a proprietary fitting, bands are interchangeable with other watches of the same lug width, including many Suunto and Garmin models.
Are these bands sweat and water resistant?
Our silicone and nylon COROS bands are built for training and handle sweat, rain and open-water swimming. Rinse them with fresh water after the pool or ocean.
